Advise Wise incorporates Street View and Maps into the platform

Advise Wise announces they’ve incorporated Google Street View and Google Map into the Advise Wise platform, allowing advisers to run quick checks on their client’s property.

Following Advise Wise members’ feedback, the platform released the new feature to help brokers advise remotely, which is quickly becoming more popular during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Advise Wise users can rely on Google Street View and Google Maps to quickly and easily run some preliminary checks on the property remotely, while they are sourcing later life lending products.

The new feature is available on the Advise Wise Platform, on the client’s case page, where advisers can see a “View on map” button next to the client’s property address.

Advisers can use the popular Street View and Maps as an indicator to spot any potential issues that they can discuss with the client, to make sure they get a full understanding of the case in order to find the best product for the customer’s needs and property criteria.

In just one click, brokers can view the client’s building on a map, directly from the sourcing platform, and this enables them to check the property’s proximity to commercial buildings, inspect the property's construction type, roof and inclusion of solar panels.

Craig Faulkiner, Head of Distribution at Advise Wise, commented: “Advisers are at the heart of what we do and since our launch, we've been working hard to make their sourcing process more efficient. We’re constantly improving the platform to make it as straightforward as possible, and with this new feature is a great example of how technology can help simplify the remote advising process.”

“Advise Wise is the very first platform in the equity release market to incorporate the Street View and Maps to enable advisers to run qualifying checks on the client’s property before starting the product sourcing. We believe this can help optimise the sourcing process, as it gives advisers a better understanding of the case, whilst it contributes to lead to the most appropriate product for the client”.
