The consumption of paper reaches huge volumes every year and forests and tree plantations are the primary source of fibre to produce new paper.
The later life industry is not fully digitalised yet and still a paper-heavy sector, where the habit to print tons of documents is still very persistent.

Worldwide paper consumption exceeds 400m tonnes per year.

One office employee consumes 10,000 sheets of paper every year.
Fantastic progress has been made over the last few years in reducing paper usage in the later life market, with lenders launching new digital processes. As a technology provider, we are committed to support too.
We encourage the use of technology by providing innovative solutions to support advisors in digitalising their processes. But, we can do more. That's why, we will plant a tree for every KFI requested through Advise Wise.
Why have we chosen to plant trees?
Here are some of the many benefits of planting trees.

Air
Trees help clean the air we breathe
Biodiversity
Trees provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity
Water
Trees filter the water we drink
Climate
Forests absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere
Health
Forests are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines
How does it work?
Simply request a KFI through the Advise Wise Platform or Mortgage Club and we will plant a tree on your behalf. A tree will be planted for each individual KFI request, even if rejected by the lender due to client eligibility.
We will periodically keep you up to date with how much carbon you have offset by using Advise Wise for your KFI requests.
